The Lenovo K3 Note will be a Flipkart-exclusive in India.

After bucketloads of rumors and leaks, Lenovo has finally launched their latest budget offering dubbed Lenovo K3 Note in India. It’s worth noting that the device will be exclusively available via online e-tailer Flipkart in the country and will set you back Rs 9,999 (approximately $157) when it goes on flash sale scheduled for July 8th.

The K3 Note, which was launched in China earlier this year, will be available in three color variants in India — White, Black, and Yellow. In case you’re planning to buy the device, you may want to head over to Flipkart which is taking registrations for the device from 2 PM onwards.

For the uninitiated, this budget-centric phone from Lenovo comes with a large 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There’s a microSD slot available, which you can use to expand storage up to 32GB.

When it comes to the camera department, this phone rocks a 13MP rear camera with a dual-LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and is backed by a 3000mAh battery to take care of the power needs.

Connectivity options of the device include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, A-GPS, and a micro USB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. It also features all the standard sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, and proximity sensor.

For under Rs 10000, this handset will compete with the likes of YU Yuphoria and Xolo Cube 5.0 that are currently selling for Rs 6,999 and 7,999 respectively. We’ll keep you updated with more information on the K3 Note in the coming days.
