Huawei’s 2018 handset dubbed Huawei P Smart is finally getting an upgrade in the form of Huawei P Smart Pro, according to a new listing on Android Enterprise Directory. The listing suggests that the device will come with a 6.5-inch screen, 4GB RAM, and 64GB in-built storage. Besides that, it is also known that the handset will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
The listing also confirms that the phone will come with a fingerprint reader. However, it’s not clear whether it will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor or an in-display one.
Unfortunately, that’s all we know about the device thus far. But, we’ll make sure to keep you updated as we get more details.
In case you didn’t know, the Huawei P Smart was launched back in December last year, and features a large 6.21-inch screen with a display resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It is powered by Huawei’s own Hisilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor that is coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone is available in two storage options: 32GB and 64GB.
The storage, however, can be expanded up to 1TB via a MicroSD slot that also couples as a secondary SIM card slot. The camera department is handled by an 8MP front-facing camera and the dual-camera setup on the rear includes a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. When it comes to software, the device runs EMUI 9 that is based on Android 9.0 Pie.
The fingerprint reader on the P Smart is mounted on the rear, and to take care of the power needs, it is backed by a 3400mAh battery.
